John Noble Home Bell Court Redevelopment

The John Noble Home Expansion is a 40-bed expansion to the John Noble Home long-term care facility in Brantford, Ontario. The Ministry of Long-term Care awarded 40 beds to John Noble to create a Specialized Behavioural Care Unit, to be named the “Bell Court Encompassed Care Unit”. G architects led the feasibility study, concept design, and the design for the redevelopment.

In addition, G architects supported John Noble Home in the procurement of a Construction Manager, to act as a construction partner in developing the budget, trade quotations, value engineering, final tendered and awarded price. This resulted in increased budget control and allowed for the development of a construction schedule with the Construction Manager. The scope of the project has since expanded to include renovations to the existing Day and Stay program space and a sprinkler retro-fit project within the existing Home.
