Mississauga — Eurofins CDMO Alphora Inc. proudly unveils its newly completed pilot-scale biologics development facility. Designed by G architects, this facility spans 3,300 square feet and represents a significant milestone in Eurofins Alphora's commitment to advancing biologics research and development.

G architects employed a holistic approach to design, seamlessly integrating mechanical, electrical, and structural elements to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency. A hallmark of the design is the meticulous planning of features such as extensive benching, casework, and bio-safety cabinetry, all tailored to support Eurofins Alphora's specialized requirements. The retrofitting of existing long-span Open Web Steel Joists (OWSJ) was strategically executed to enhance the facility's Air Handling Unit (AHU) capabilities, thereby maximizing operational efficiencies. Furthermore, G prioritized life safety measures, incorporating features that foster adaptability and future-proof the lab space for potential hazardous activities. This forward-thinking approach not only ensures the safety of personnel but also enhances the facility's versatility and longevity.
